Abstract

The Association to Preserve Cape Cod’s Cyanobacteria Monitoring Program works with Barnstable county, town officials, and pond associations to monitor ponds and lakes for cyanobacteria concentrations across Cape Cod. This presentation will provide an overview to our program’s history and progress, discuss the challenges we came across in the 2020 season, and finally talk through plans for program expansion in the upcoming season. Drawing on the support of its partners, APCC’s Cyanobacteria Monitoring Program is the largest of its kind on Cape Cod.
